SpectreCredits & billing
Spectre uses a simple credit system. You are charged only for successful tool calls — failed or empty calls are not charged.
Trial credits
Every new account starts with 50 trial credits. Use them to test any tool before subscribing. No payment method is required for the trial.
Pro subscription
The Pro plan gives you 500 credits per month for $21/month. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.
Top-ups
If you run out of credits mid-cycle, you can purchase a top-up any time: 500 credits for $15, one-time purchase, available from your dashboard. Top-ups never expire.
Per-call billing
Credits are deducted based on the tool and the number of records returned:

Search tool billing
Search tools (search_people, search_people_by_name, search_jobs) charge per record returned. Each search call is capped at a maximum charge per call regardless of how many results come back, so your agent cannot accidentally consume your entire balance in a single search.
